A teenage girl was arrested in St. Petersburg in the case of the murder of an ex-boyfriend.

In St. Petersburg, a court arrested for two months a teenage girl accused of incitement and complicity in the murder of a former young man. This was announced on March 21 by a correspondent of Izvestia from the courtroom.

According to the investigation, the girl acted as an instigator, telling the accused Vladimir Kotsalainen that she wanted to take revenge on her ex for violence. When the teenager returned to the murder scene to dismember and remove the body, he was detained.

A source from Izvestia reported on March 19 that, according to preliminary data, a 17-year-old teenager who disappeared in St. Petersburg was found murdered near the Kondakopshino railway platform. The young man could have been stabbed to death in connection with a conflict motivated by jealousy. It later became known that his ex-girlfriend could have been involved in the incident.

Later, a minor named Vladimir Kotsalainen, who is accused of murdering and dismembering a peer, was arrested. The term of arrest was set until May 18, 2026.
