The BBC reported on the amount of damage caused by Iran to US bases
During the 14 days of the war, the Iranian Armed Forces in the Middle East caused at least $800 million in damage to US military bases. This was announced on March 21 by the BBC television and radio company with reference to a report by the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS, recognized as an undesirable organization in the Russian Federation).
"The damage to American bases in the region has been underestimated <...>. The full amount will become known only after additional information is received," the corporation quoted Mark Kancian, co—author of the report, as saying.
It is noted that the damage to American bases in the region was significantly higher than initial estimates. The damage affected key air defense and radar systems at several bases, which may limit US combat capabilities in the region.
The publication noted that the restoration of the destroyed infrastructure will take considerable time and will require large financial expenditures.
The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) announced on March 16 that Iran would continue to strike American bases in the Middle East. The statement notes that the attacks will continue until the withdrawal of American troops or their destruction.
