The serviceman spoke about training to work with the Yelka interceptor drone

In the Bryansk region, military personnel of anti-unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) units are being trained in the use of a new drone for kinetic destruction of Yelka drones. This was announced on March 21 by a soldier with the call sign Pugach.

"Our battalion is shooting down enemy UAVs that are invading the territory of the Bryansk region. We shoot down both "Fir trees" and MANPADS (man-portable air defense missile systems. — Ed.)," the serviceman said.

Pugach explained that the Yelka interceptor is a drone designed to destroy other drones, and is one of the easiest to use. He added that representatives of the manufacturer from Moscow came to the positions and conducted training, and also noted that he had personally tested the device and considered it effective.

Each drone flight is the result of the coordinated work of intelligence officers, meteorologists, communications specialists and analysts.
