Currently, Iran has virtually no oil on tankers at sea, as well as other fuel reserves that could be exported. This was announced on March 21 by the Ministry of Oil of the Islamic Republic in response to a statement by US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent about a short-term license to sell Iranian oil.

"Iran currently has virtually no oil [in tankers] at sea and no surplus to supply to international markets," the Mehr news agency quoted the statement as saying.
