The proposal to support Russian IT companies through tax incentives and government financing was announced on March 21 by the leader of the Fair Russia party and the head of the Duma faction, Sergei Mironov.
An official appeal to the head of the Ministry of Finance, Maksut Shadaev, is available to RIA Novosti. The co-author of the initiative was the chairman of the State Duma Committee on the Development of Civil Society, issues of public and religious associations, MP Yana Lantratova.
