MEP Kennes acknowledged the EU's mistake in not condemning the strikes on Iran.

The European Union (EU) countries made a mistake when they did not condemn the US and Israeli strikes on Iran. This was announced on March 21 by the Belgian MEP Rudy Kennes.

"The biggest mistake of the European leaders was that they did not react to the attacks on Iran, that they did not condemn them. They should have immediately condemned what was happening and emphasized that this was an illegal war and the like, but they didn't," he said in an interview with RIA Novosti.

According to him, Europe relied on a short military operation in the Middle East, unaware of Iran's preparedness. In this regard, it is the European countries that have suffered the most.
