The main industrial event of the country, the Moscow Fashion Week x Gigachat (#gigan weekels), continues in the Central Exhibition Hall "Manege", which will last until March 19. The fifth day brought together designers from Moscow, Ivanovo, Kazan, Kaliningrad and Novosibirsk.

On the catwalks of the fifth day, archival prints met futuristic silhouettes, sand dunes — with architectural rigor, and aesthetics of the 80s - with modern layering. Here, folk motifs were reinterpreted through the prism of contemporary design, classics were transformed into an experiment, and the contrast of textures became the main artistic device. At the same time, the VK Lecture Hall discussed the future of the industry and the new rules of the fashion market, and in the GigaChat AI fitting room, technologies allowed catwalk looks to be tried on even before they went into production, demonstrating how digital solutions are becoming an integral part of fashion today.

Interviews continue to take place in the on-site studio of the Moscow 24 TV channel. At the forefront of the new collections of Russian designers were the heroes of gossip columns and stars, including actress Vera Volt and many others. The official photo service of the event was the Rodchenko Moscow School of Photography and Multimedia.

Students of the Novosibirsk Institute of Technology of the A.N. Kosygin Russian State University presented a collection dedicated to the vast expanses of Russia. The line combines gentle futuristic images with bold and sexy solutions. The main focus of the collection is the cage, which is played out in coats, skirts and accessories. Through the selection of fabrics, textures and details, the authors explore the connection with nature, traditions and values of the motherland, referring to the images of forests, mountains, steppes and the ocean. Experimental forms inspired by Russian folk costume prove its timeless relevance, harmoniously combining tradition and modernity. The students' images were complemented by shoes from the O'SHADE brand, the official shoe partner of Moscow Fashion Week.

The collection "from a man's shoulder" was presented by the Soroka On Course brand, telling the story of a girl who opened the wardrobe of her dandy father and tried on his images. The show itself turned out to be immersive — the audience watched as the models sat down in vintage armchairs, and then stood up and effectively defiled. The "Daughter of a Dandy" — that's the name of the line — prefers relaxed suits, blouses, rough trench coats with graphic lines, as well as brutal tuxedos. The collection also featured flowing dresses, "cases", skirts with royal hemlines, which visually softened the images. The collection was complemented by shoes from the O'SHADE brand, the official shoe partner of Moscow Fashion Week.

Kanzler brand designer Ekaterina Bessmertnykh was inspired by the rhythm of modern urban life and the natural palette of nature. The new collection, presented at Moscow Fashion Week, includes comfortable and casual products. Moderately relaxed silhouettes, noble natural shades, slight asymmetry and layering allow you to look stylish and feel comfortable.

The spring-summer collection by Galina Podzolko is inspired by the image of a freedom-loving heroine and consists of iconic silhouettes and details of the 90s. The main characters of the new line are a headdress in the form of paper boats and a cloth with torn newspapers. The accent details were prints in the form of daisies, bears, cherries, and bomber jackets and raincoats in noble shades emphasized the severity and core of the heroine.

The Moscow fashion house Julia Dalakian presented an autumn-winter collection called "Drama Chic". A mix of grotesque, deep shades, accent elements, bold fragments and graceful lines create a contrast between different moods. Muted natural colors: graphite, clay, gray-blue, marsh, are combined with mint, dusty pink and beige palettes. Special attention was drawn to the author's accents in the form of unique applications and unusual design of seams. The collection contains some images from the upcoming premiere of the Primorsky Drama Theater named after M. Gorky "The Great Gatsby. Goodbye." Yulia Dalakyan, the founder of the brand of the same name, performs as a costume designer in the play.

A joint show of the Crow Fox brand and hat designer Olga Panteleeva was held as part of the Moscow Fashion Week. The new collection titled "The Master and Margarita" is a look at Mikhail Bulgakov's cult novel through the prism of modernity. The collection is based on unique vintage fabrics from flea markets and authentic patterns from the early 20th century. The historical authenticity of the details is emphasized by hand embroidery: mimosa has become a symbol of the love of the Master and Margarita, the thin branches of which decorate dresses, suits and outerwear. The exquisite color scheme (deep blue, emerald and gray) conveys the intense atmosphere of the novel, while maintaining visual lightness. The images are completed by Olga Panteleeva's hats, jewelry of the brand "All over the World" and embroidery from "Shvets".

The Moscow Fashion Week program includes shows by Russian and foreign designers, a market and a showroom co—organized by the Made in Moscow project, and a VK Lecture Hall with the participation of leading industry experts.
