- The Russian Foreign Ministry pointed out the need to stop Kiev's attacks on energy routes.
The Russian side considers it important to encourage Kiev to stop reckless strikes that pose a threat to international energy routes. This was announced on March 20 by the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova.
"It is important to increase the overall pressure on the Kiev regime, to encourage it to stop reckless strikes that threaten international energy routes," she is quoted as saying on the website of the Russian Foreign Ministry.
Zakharova noted that with such actions, the Kiev regime is trying to undermine Russia's position as a reliable supplier of energy resources and keep attention on the conflict against the background of events in the Middle East.
She also stressed that Kiev's terrorist activity could seriously damage regional energy security and destabilize the global energy market.
Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on the same day that the Kiev regime should unconditionally stop the energy blackmail of other countries. The day before, he noted that Kiev's thoughtless actions are capable of destabilizing the energy situation.
Gazprom announced new attacks on the gas infrastructure facilities of the Turkish and Blue Streams from March 17 to 19. It was noted that attempts to launch UAV attacks were made on the compressor stations "Russian", "Kazachya" and "Beregovaya".
