GAC and Huawei launch new Aistaland car brand
GAC Group and Huawei have founded a new joint car brand Aistaland (Qijing in the Chinese market). China has opened accepting orders for the first model, the Aistaland GT7 sports wagon, the automaker said in a statement received by Izvestia on March 20.
The brand name is derived from the phrase AI Start New Land — "Artificial intelligence opens up new horizons." As part of the HIMA alliance, the Aistaland brand plans to release several new models in the next three years. Mid-size and large SUVs are expected to premiere by the end of 2026.
The Aistaland GT7 model is made in the shooting brake body, it is a sports wagon with a low seat and a sloping roof line. The length of the model is 5050 mm, the wheelbase is 3000 mm. The head optics are based on Huawei XPixel technology with digital projection support, blue LEDs are integrated into the headlights to indicate the work of assistants. The rear is equipped with continuous LED lights with a flowing light effect and segmented blue indicators. The car is equipped with semi-concealed door handles, 19-inch glossy black discs and red brake calipers. The body color scheme includes shades named after resorts (for example, red "Monaco" and bright orange "Sicily").
The interior is designed in a minimalist style with a digital dashboard and a large touchscreen media system. Voice assistant support and integration of online services are provided. The Huawei Sound AI audio system includes nine speakers. Soft textures and aluminum inserts are used in the decoration, the front seats of the sports profile are equipped with heating, ventilation and settings memory. There is dual-zone climate control, heated steering wheel, wireless charging and multi-color atmospheric lighting.
The Aistaland GT7 has a new generation 800 volt Qilin traction battery developed in collaboration with CATL. It supports 6C ultra-fast charging, which allows you to replenish your power reserve at a speed of "one kilometer in one second." The power plant includes three electric motors — one in front and two in the rear. Power and dynamic parameters are not specified. Active safety systems and assistants are powered by an 896-line lidar, and a third-level autonomous driving system is provided.
On this day, it was reported that sales of the new compact crossover Belgee X50+ began in Russia. Prices for the new product in all versions are lower than for the X50 model in comparable trim levels. The production of cars has been established at the Belji Belarusian plant.
