1,400 illegal kiosks and stalls have been dismantled in the Moscow region since the beginning of the year.

Since the beginning of 2026, 1,400 illegally installed non-stationary retail facilities (NTS) have been dismantled in the Moscow Region. This is reported by the regional Ministry of Agriculture and Food.

"At the moment, 1,400 structures have already been dismantled, 527 of them as planned and 873 as a result of unscheduled inspections. The work on identification and dismantling continues," the report says.

According to the online publication Podmoskovye Segodnya, a total of 5,649 illegal kiosks and stalls have been dismantled in the region since the beginning of work on the transformation of the trade sector. So, in 2024, 337 facilities were eliminated, in 2025 — 3912.

The ministry explains that after receiving the order, the owner of the NTO must remove it himself within two weeks. In case of non-compliance with the requirements, a decision is made to forcibly dismantle, and all costs will be charged to the owner.
