The construction of a new FOK with an ice arena will be completed in Kashira by the spring of 2027

In Kashira (Moscow region), by the spring of 2027, it is planned to complete the construction of a new sports and recreation complex with an ice arena. This is reported by the regional Glavgosstroynadzor.

As of March 19, excavation work and installation of load-bearing reinforced concrete structures are underway at the facility. The area of the two-storey building will be about 5 thousand square meters. m.

The complex itself will consist of three functional blocks, including an entrance group and administrative and maintenance rooms. The main one will be the ice arena, where hockey players will train, and there will also be a free skating area for everyone.

The construction of the FOC began a little over a year ago, in January 2025, as part of the regional state program "Construction and overhaul of social infrastructure facilities." It is planned to fully complete the work and open the ice arena in the spring of 2027, writes the online publication Podmoskovye Segodnya.

Earlier in March, it was reported that a large sports cluster would be created on the basis of the ice arena in Dolgoprudny, Moscow region. Investments in the project are estimated at 250 million rubles. It is planned to create playgrounds for team and racket sports, as well as an indoor football arena.
