Sobchak was sued for apartment flooding

The insurance company filed a lawsuit in the capital's court against journalist Ksenia Sobchak and another defendant for flooding the apartment. This was reported to Izvestia on March 19 by a source familiar with the statement of claim.

"The claim is about compensation for damage by way of subrogation for the flooding of the apartment," the source said, adding that the defendants are being asked to collect this amount jointly.

The applicant estimated the damage at over 166 thousand rubles. According to the file, the claim for compensation for property damage was filed in court in October 2025. The hearing of the case on the merits is scheduled for March 23.

In November last year, a court in Moscow granted the fourth claim of the capital's Apartment Building Renovation Fund for the recovery of utility bills from Sobchak. At the same time, the amount of debt collected from the TV presenter was not reported.
