Iran has executed three participants in the January protests, who were accused of murdering police officers. This was reported by Tasnim news agency on March 19.

"The three convicts were sentenced after going through all the necessary legal procedures and hanged in connection with their involvement in the murder of two FARAJA employees," the publication says.
