The number of temporary travel bans from Russia for indebted citizens has increased by more than 40% as of the beginning of 2026. This was confirmed on March 19 by data from the Federal Bailiff Service (FSSP).

"As of January 1, Russian border guards had 8.9 million bailiffs banning debtors from leaving Russia, which is 1.4 times more than a year ago...> Over the year, the indicator jumped by 41.5%," RBC cites statistics from the department.
