On Wednesday, March 20th, it will come. How, during this period, the length of daylight and night on March 20, the day of the vernal equinox, will be the same anywhere on the planet. This was reported on March 19 in the press service of the Moscow Planetarium.

"On the day of the equinox, the line of day and night on our planet (astronomers call it the terminator line) passes exactly through the South and North Poles, that is, along the meridians. This means an equal length of day and night anywhere on Earth," said a representative of the planetarium in an interview with TASS.

From this moment on, astronomical spring begins in the Northern Hemisphere, and daylight hours will begin to grow rapidly. So, at the latitude of Moscow, by the end of March, its duration will increase to 13 hours.
