Russian Presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on March 18 that there was no point in assessing the alleged attempts by the United States to "separate Russia from China," and also called for official statements on relations between the two countries to be guided.

"There are a lot of different arguments now. It makes no sense to evaluate them all. We need to focus on official statements," he told the Daily Storm.
