Private Dmitry Chuiko discovered a stronghold of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) and participated in the assault as part of a motorized rifle assault group. The press service of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reported on the exploits of Russian servicemen in the area of the special military operation on March 19.

Chuiko promptly provided the command with information about the location of opornik. Aerial additional reconnaissance was carried out, which made it possible to establish the coordinates of firing points and shelters, as well as the approximate number of enemy manpower. The motorized infantry decided to enter from several directions, and then used grenade launchers and hand fragmentation grenades against the Ukrainian Armed Forces. As a result, the stronghold was taken, and Russian soldiers gained a foothold in new positions.

The Russian Defense Ministry also noted the dedication of Corporal Denis Demikhov, who organized communication between Russian units and the command.

As a result of artillery fire from the Ukrainian Armed Forces, a wire line was damaged. Demikhov, realizing the need to quickly restore communication, moved to the site of the breakdown. Upon arrival, it turned out that the cable could not be repaired, it was necessary to extend a new one. Demikhov managed to complete this task in the shortest possible time and restore communication between the units.

On March 18, the press service of the Russian Defense Ministry told how Sergeant Yevgeny Yaptune was among the first to break into the Ukrainian Armed Forces stronghold, personally destroyed two drones and eliminated three opponents, which contributed to the further advance of Russian attack aircraft.
