The court turned the assets of Krasnodar City Duma deputy Timofeev into state revenue

The Leninsky District Court turned the property of Viktor Timofeev, deputy of the Krasnodar City Duma, and related persons into state revenue. This was announced on March 18 by the united press service of the courts of the Krasnodar Territory.

"Timofeev, filling positions in a municipal representative body, using administrative resources, official powers and political influence, lobbied the interests of organizations under his control for illicit enrichment," the Telegram channel said.

According to the court, the deputy ensured the conclusion of contracts for children's transportation with an organization controlled by him, to which municipal institutions had been providing buses for free for more than 15 years. Over the past 14 years, the companies under his control have received contracts worth 5 billion rubles, and the transportation itself was subject to security violations.

It is reported that Timofeev used his corrupt income to purchase real estate, create legal entities and purchase assets, which he issued to relatives and controlled persons.

It is specified that 100% of shares in three organizations, 16 real estate objects, 25 land plots and seven vehicles have been converted into state revenue. The total market value of the seized property was 10,074,549,295 rubles.
