Kia Rio has once again become the bestseller of the Russian secondary car market

According to the results of February 2026, the Kia Rio model became the bestseller in the secondary car market of Russia, it holds the leadership for the second month in a row. This follows from the statistics of the analytical agency Autostat, which Izvestia reviewed on March 19.

At the end of winter, used Kia Rio sales totaled 8.5 thousand units. The second line of the rating is again occupied by the co-platform Hyundai Solaris (8,300 units). The Lada 2107 sedan, which used to be the leader of the Russian secondary market for a long time, became only the third (8.2 thousand units).

The top five were rounded out by the Toyota Corolla (7.5 thousand units) and the Lada 4x4 three-door SUV (7.4 thousand units). The top ten also includes Lada 2114, Ford Focus, Lada 2170 and 2190, as well as Toyota Camry.

Compared to January, many models were in the red, and the Toyota Corolla (+20.4%) and the Vaz Seven (+5.5%) grew in the top ten. Compared to February 2025, half of the models showed positive dynamics, while the other half showed negative dynamics. Toyota Corolla was again the best among the first (+22.1%), and Lada 2107 was the worst among the second (-16.1%).

Earlier in the day, it was reported that in February 2026, Russian residents purchased 411.9 thousand used passenger cars. This is 5.7% less than a month earlier, but 3.7% higher than in February last year.
