- The WSJ learned about Israeli intelligence threats to Iranian commanders and their families over the phone
Israeli intelligence officials are calling Iranian commanders and threatening them and their family members. This was reported on March 18 by the American newspaper The Wall Street Journal (WSJ).
"Israeli intelligence officers began calling individual commanders, threatening them and their families," the article says.
The newspaper writes that the Israeli services urge the Iranian command not to interfere in the operations of the United States and Israel to change power in the Islamic Republic.
On the same day, N12 TV channel reported that the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) had attempted to assassinate Iranian Intelligence Minister Ismail Khatib. Later, Israeli Defense Minister Yisrael Katz confirmed that Iran's intelligence Minister Khatib was killed in an Israeli strike on Tehran.
A day earlier, it became known about the death of the Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council (NSDC) as a result of an IDF night attack Iran's Ali Larijani. According to The New York Times (NYT), this news caused even more alarm among Iranians, in particular among officials. It was noted that some of them were shaking after receiving a message about the incident, and someone began to speculate about the future potential victims of Tel Aviv.
All important news is on the Izvestia channel in the MAX messenger.
