The Federation Council approved a law banning the extradition of foreigners who served in the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation

At a meeting on March 18, the Federation Council approved a law on limiting administrative expulsion from Russia for foreigners and stateless persons who served under contract in the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.

The law provides for the non-application of administrative expulsion from Russia if the sanction of the applicable article provides for the imposition of the specified type of punishment.
