In Dzerzhinsky in the Moscow region, three people were poisoned to death by household gas. This was announced on March 18 by a source of Izvestia.

According to him, as a result of the incident, a 41-year-old man, his 40-year-old wife and a one-month-old child died.

The source of Izvestia clarified that the cause of death of a family in Dzerzhinsky, near Moscow, was damage to the water heater in the bathroom. Due to a malfunction, carbon monoxide got out of the boiler into the air. The man was taking a shower at that time, and the mother and child were asleep.

An investigation is currently underway into the incident. The Lyubertsy City Prosecutor's Office is monitoring the establishment of the circumstances of the incident, and a criminal case has been opened.

In the Samara region, people died due to poisoning by methane vapor in the sewer. As specified on March 17, three people died during the work.
