72 people were detained in Georgia in connection with the "thieves' world" case

In Georgia, as a result of a large-scale operation, 72 people involved in the activities of the so-called "thieves' world" were detained. This was stated on March 17 by Georgian Interior Minister Gela Geladze at a briefing in Batumi.

"The detainees are charged with membership in the thieves' world, supporting its activities, participating in thieves' gatherings, appealing to members of the thieves' world and engaging in thievery," he said.
