Almost the entire base of HC Metallurg will miss the last KHL matches.

Magnitogorsk Metallurg Hockey Club (HC) has announced the squad for the final away series of the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL) regular season, with almost all the main squad players remaining in Magnitogorsk. This was announced on March 17 by the club's press service.

"It's time for the young! And experienced teammates will help them," the club's Telegram channel says.

Of the base players, only a few hockey players went on the trip, including goalkeeper Ilya Nabokov, defenseman Alexander Siryatsky and forwards Egor Korobkin, Vladimir Tkachev and Mikhail Fedorov.

As specified, goalkeepers Egor Kramzin and Andrey Trofimov also went on the road trip. Kirill Zhukov, Yaroslav Isakov, Yaroslav Mukhranov, Nikita Poltavchuk, Anton Rubin and Eduard Shetle joined the defense.

The line of attack consisted of Matvey Galenyuk, Mikhail Grass, Matvey Gushchin, Nikita Zimin, Artyom Kuzyakin, Eric Mukhotianov, Igor Nechaev, Boris Osipovich, Innokenty Rybin, Danil Sysoev and Pavel Tyutnev.

Metallurg beat Traktor Chelyabinsk in the KHL regular season match on March 8 according to the results of a shootout. The meeting on Magnitogorsk's home ice ended with a score of 3:2.
