Russia is currently resisting the actions of 56 countries that are trying to commit sabotage and terrorist attacks on critical facilities. This was announced on March 17 by the Secretary of the Russian Security Council, Sergei Shoigu, at a visiting meeting in the Ural Federal District.

"In fact, there is a huge system of 56 countries operating against our country, all the experience gained by the special services of these countries in committing sabotage and terrorist acts against critical infrastructure facilities," said the Secretary of the Russian Security Council.

According to Shoigu, Western intelligence agencies have developed many methods for attacking strategically important facilities in Russia. At the same time, he stressed that the country is confidently coping with all threats.

On March 13, Russian President Vladimir Putin discussed additional measures to protect critical infrastructure facilities during a meeting of the Security Council of the Russian Federation. The Minister of Construction and Housing and Communal Services of Russia Irek Fayzullin, as well as Russian Deputy Prime Ministers Alexander Novak and Vitaly Saveliev, delivered a report at this meeting.
