AvtoVAZ will present a snowmobile on the Lada Niva platform

AvtoVAZ will separate commercial vehicles into a separate line of business. The new structure will be called Lada Business. Among other things, it will feature a snowmobile based on the Lada Niva SUV, the brand's press service reported on March 17.

Lada Business will focus on the development of the segment of light commercial vehicles (LCVs). Separate spaces with this branding will appear in dealerships for corporate clients. The line will include both Lada's own product line and partner products.

It is stated that a wide range of commercial vehicles, Lada Largus vans, economical methane versions of Largus and Vesta, on-board platforms, vans, rescue and fire trucks from VIS-AVTO JSC based on Lada Granta and Niva Legend will be presented in a separate business area.

In addition, Lada Business will include a unique snowmobile based on the Lada Niva platform, promising cars of the new SKM brand, special equipment from a certified partner of Promtech LLC (refrigerated trucks, car stalls, vans with a volume of up to 7 cubic meters, vehicles for medical services and transportation of people with disabilities; in total, more than 50 variants).

Earlier, on March 12, it was reported that the Lada Tigris trademark had passed state registration in Russia. It is possible that in the future this name may be used for a new Lada model. The application for registration of the Lada Tigris trademark was submitted to Rospatent in early 2025, along with Lada Parus, Lada Ariva, Lada Yarus and Lada Yashma. At the same time, the Lada Parus trademark was already registered in early March.
