Thailand has begun consultations with Russia to discuss oil supplies amid the easing of US sanctions. This was announced on March 17 by the head of the kingdom's Foreign Ministry, Sihasak Phuangketkeou.
"We have contacted Russia, and Russia is ready for sale. Especially now that the United States has eased sanctions, ships that have already left ports can sell ships to various countries," Thai newspaper Thairath quoted the minister as saying.
