Three Jetour crossovers have been controlled from a smartphone in Russia
The Jetour Dashing, T2 and X70+ crossovers on the Russian market have received telematics services that allow them to control car functions via a smartphone. This is stated in the company's message, which was received by Izvestia on March 17.
A basic telematics package is offered for the Jetour Dashing and X70+ crossovers. With it, the driver can get information about the status of the car, as well as control its functions. Among the features of the mobile application are displaying the location of the car on the map, building routes to it, information about the status of various systems, including fuel reserve, battery level, tire pressure and other parameters. Remotely, you can check whether the doors, windows, and sunroof are closed. Remote engine start, unlocking locks, turning on the steering wheel and seat heating, as well as climate control to warm up or cool the interior are available.
Jetour T2 owners will have access to an expanded telematics complex with infotainment services. In addition to the control capabilities, the complex includes streaming video and audio playback via VK Video and VK Music, multimedia device access to the Internet, use of navigation services based on Yandex Maps, as well as work with social networks and applications, including Zen.
The cars are equipped with a telematics device from the factory. There is a built-in SIM card that uses the MTS operator's infrastructure. Depending on the crossover model, the free amount of traffic will be limited. Telematics services are installed on cars manufactured in 2026.
Earlier, on March 10, it was reported that Jetour had stopped selling X50 and X70 crossovers in Russia. Representatives of the brand explained this step as a natural reaction to consumer demand. They shared that the Jetour Dashing, T2 and X70+ models are in the highest demand among customers.
