A shell struck a tanker while parked off the coast of the UAE

An unknown projectile hit the tanker while the vessel was anchored in the area off Fujairah in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). This was announced on March 17 by the UK Maritime Trade Authority (UKMTO).

"The UKMTO received an incident report at 23 nautical miles (42.5 km). — Ed.) east of Fujairah, UAE. The tanker reported hitting an unknown projectile while anchored," the statement said.
