ABC reported 200 wounded US military personnel during the operation against Iran
About 200 American servicemen were injured during the US military operation against Iran. This was reported on March 16 by ABC television with reference to Tim Hawkins, a representative of the Central Command of the US Armed Forces (CENTCOM).
"200 American military personnel have been injured in the war with Iran so far, including 10 soldiers who have been seriously injured," the report said, citing Tim Hawkins, a spokesman for the command.
Of the 200 wounded, 180 soldiers returned to service, he added.
The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) announced on the same day that Iran would continue to strike US bases in the Middle East until the complete withdrawal of American troops from the region. It was noted that the IRGC destroyed a hangar with American fighters at the Sheikh Isa and Al-Dhafra air bases using high-explosive cruise missiles during a combined missile and unmanned operation.
