In the village of Sverdlovsky near Moscow, a seventh-grader attacked a classmate with a knife. The victim was hospitalized, the attacker was detained. All the details are in the Izvestia article.
Circumstances of the incident
The incident occurred on the morning of March 16 in the Losino-Petrovsky urban district. According to preliminary data, the conflict between the two teenagers began on the way to school. During the quarrel, one of the students took out a cold weapon and inflicted several wounds on his opponent.
"The boy pulled out a knife and inflicted three wounds on a classmate, and then went to class," a source told Izvestia.
After committing the crime, the attacker fled the scene and went to lessons. The injured student with wounds to the head and neck was urgently taken to the Royal Hospital. Currently, doctors are providing him with the necessary medical care.
Investigation and criminal case
Law enforcement officers promptly detained the suspect. During the search, in addition to the weapon of the crime, several knives, as well as firecrackers and matches were found and seized from the seventh-grader. According to the Izvestia source, the teenager could have been planning attacks on other students at the school.
The Investigative Committee for the Moscow Region has officially confirmed the start of the investigation. A criminal case has been opened into the incident under Part 3 of Article 30, paragraph "b" of Part 2 of Article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Attempted murder").
Currently, investigators and criminologists are working at the scene to determine the motives of the crime. In parallel, the Shchelkovsky City Prosecutor's Office of the Moscow region began its inspection.
