Peskov announced an increase in Russian revenues due to rising oil prices
Rising global oil prices and the lifting of US sanctions on Russian oil will increase revenues to the country's budget. This was announced on March 16 by Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov.
"We have certain rules, certain cut-off thresholds, and so on regarding oil money. But, of course, we are talking about additional revenues for our oil companies, which sell oil and petroleum products, and which, of course, are guided by the current price environment," Peskov said.
