Deptrans of Moscow urged to postpone the replacement of winter tires with summer ones

Despite the warming in Moscow, it is still too early for motorists to change winter tires to summer tires, as well as for motorcyclists to take to the roads. The Metropolitan Department of Transport announced this in its Telegram channel on March 16.

As noted in deptrans, the plus temperature in the capital is not stable yet. The weather in Moscow is sunny today, the air temperature in the morning will be +2 degrees. Ice may form in the evening.

As a rule, it is advisable to change tires from winter to summer tires when the average daily temperature begins to exceed +5 degrees.

The new technology will improve the quality of parts for cars and railway equipment and help solve the environmental problem.

As Tatiana Pozdnyakova, a leading specialist at the Meteonovosti news agency, told Izvestia on March 16, an anticyclone is expected to affect Moscow in the coming days, which will ensure dry and sunny weather in the capital region. According to her, the prevailing temperature in Moscow at night will be negative — from about 0 to -6 degrees. A decrease to -6 degrees is possible in the region. During the day, the temperature will stay within +11...+12 degrees for almost the entire period.
