Sobyanin announced the destruction of two more drones on approach to Moscow
The Air Defense Forces shot down two more unmanned aerial vehicles that were flying towards Moscow. This was announced on Monday, March 16, by the mayor of the city, Sergei Sobyanin.
"The air defense forces of the Ministry of Defense destroyed two UAVs flying to Moscow," he wrote on the MAX messenger.
The mayor clarified that representatives of special services are currently involved at the crash site. Thus, the number of UAVs shot down over the weekend, which intended to attack the capital, increased to 159.
On the same day, Sobyanin already announced the elimination of two UAVs flying to the capital, and earlier announced the destruction of five more drones by air defense systems. According to the mayor, special services have begun work on the wreckage sites.
