In the USA, a missing mother and two children were found buried in a forest.
In the US state of Alabama, employees of the Mobile County Sheriff's Office found the remains of 40-year-old Aurelia Chok, as well as her two children, who had been missing since the end of January. This was announced on March 14 by the digital channel Local 12.
The woman disappeared on January 31, along with her 17-year-old daughter Nyurka Zuleta Chok and two-year-old son Anthony Garcia Chok. After a month and a half of searching, on Friday, March 13, the police found their bodies in a forest area. According to the investigation, the dead were wrapped in plastic and buried. The identities of the victims were quickly confirmed thanks to the jewelry found next to the remains, on which the names of the mother and the youngest child were engraved.
On February 9, 31-year-old Juan Carlos Argueta Guerra was arrested on suspicion of committing a crime. Initially, the American was charged with kidnapping a family, but after the discovery of the bodies, the charges were reclassified. Now the man is charged with the murder of three people, burglary and abuse of the bodies of the deceased.
