Eight people were killed in an Israeli Air Force strike on a police car in Gaza.
Israeli aircraft attacked a police car at the entrance to the city of Zuweida in the central part of the Gaza Strip. This was announced on March 15 by the Palestinian Interior Ministry in its Telegram channel.
As a result of the airstrike, eight law enforcement officers were killed.
According to the agency, one of the police chiefs of the central province of the enclave and seven of his subordinates are among the victims.
On February 26, Knesset Deputy Speaker and member of the Our Home Israel party, Yevgeny Sova, said that Israel would allow the resumption of hostilities in the Gaza Strip if the Palestinian Hamas movement refused to disarm. He added that US President Donald Trump's plan, approved by the Israeli government, provides for the disarmament of Hamas before the restoration of the exclave.
