The number of injured as a result of the collision of two trams in the north-west of Moscow has increased to 22 people, among them five children. This was announced on March 15 by the press service of the Moscow State Traffic Inspectorate (GAI) in Moscow.
"The number of victims has increased to 22, including five children," the report says.
The accident occurred in the Pokrovskoye-Streshnevo area near house No. 1 on Vodnikov Street.
Traffic police officers and emergency services are working at the scene, doctors are helping the victims. Traffic from Svobody Street to the Volokolamsk highway in the direction of the center is blocked. The circumstances of the accident are being established.
An accident involving two trams became known earlier that day when trams collided. Initially, 13 victims were reported.
