A person involved in the murder of a woman in northwest Moscow has been charged
The Investigative Committee has charged a person involved in the criminal case of the murder of a woman in an apartment in northwest Moscow. This was reported on March 15 in the Main Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia in the capital.
According to the investigation, on March 13, the accused, armed with a grinder, a crowbar and a sledgehammer, came to the apartment on Stroginsky Boulevard, where he was let in by the 16-year-old daughter of the hostess, who was also deceived by fraudsters. Believing that he was participating in a law enforcement operation, he began to open the safe. The returning woman tried to prevent him, after which, acting on the instructions of the curators, the man struck her with multiple punches and at least two stabs with a knife. The victim died on the spot.
After opening the safe, the young man stole more than $2 thousand and other valuables, which he threw out of the window at the direction of the scammers. The next day, he was allowed to release the girl and leave the apartment. The attacker was arrested on March 14.
During the interrogation, the accused confessed his guilt and repented. He said that more than a month ago, unidentified men, posing as security forces, demanded to participate in an "operational event" under threat of criminal prosecution. The investigation will apply for the arrest of the man.
The Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation urged citizens to be vigilant: real employees never involve outsiders in operational work. Participation in particularly serious crimes can result in life imprisonment.
On March 14, a woman's body with multiple injuries and a safe with signs of forced entry were found in an apartment on Stroginsky Boulevard. It was previously established that the victim's daughter became a victim of telephone fraudsters who introduced themselves as law enforcement officers and demanded to open the door to their "employee" to conduct operational search activities. Investigators and criminologists continue to inspect the scene, interrogate witnesses, study the recordings from the cameras and identify possible accomplices to the crime. The criminal case is being investigated under Article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Murder").
Later, a suspect in the murder of a woman in the north-west of Moscow was detained. He turned out to be a native of Kislovodsk, born in 2005. According to the Izvestia source, the killer is a football player. Daniil S. studied at the Lokomotiv Academy. He is currently playing for Ural. In 2019, the young man's family was involved in an accident — everyone survived.
