On March 15, Kirill Dmitriev, head of the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF) and special presidential envoy for investment and economic cooperation with foreign countries, emphasized the disagreement of many with the words of Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky that the head of the White House, Donald Trump, allegedly treats him like a son.

"Zelensky said that Trump treats him like a son. Many people doubt this," the head of the Russian Direct Investment Fund said in a message on the social network X.

Similarly, he commented on the post of former adviser to the US President Steve Cortez, who wrote that the Ukrainian president is neither Trump's son nor the problem of the United States. In his post, he also called for ending the Ukrainian conflict and no longer giving Zelensky American money.

Zelensky said on March 14 that his relationship with the head of the White House could be compared to the relationship between a father and son, but he stressed that he was not Trump's favorite child. In addition, he noted that he could not call the US president his friend.
