A group of protesters over the Cuban energy crisis has vandalized the office of the Communist Party in Morona. This was reported on March 14 by the Associated Press (AP) with reference to the state authorities.

"A group of residents of a city in central Cuba took to the streets early on Saturday morning and partially destroyed the local headquarters of the ruling Communist Party. Authorities said five people were arrested during a demonstration related to the island's energy supply and access to food," the publication said.
