Fraudsters call Russians allegedly from the Social Fund of the Russian Federation (SFR), reporting unspecified work experience, and promise an increase in pensions, as well as monetary compensation for previous years. This was announced on March 14 by Galaktion Kuchava, an expert of the Moshelovka platform.

"The first stage is a call allegedly from the Social Fund of Russia (SFR) with a message about the uncounted work experience. The pensioner is promised not only an increase in his pension starting in April, but also a large monetary compensation for the past years if he urgently submits an application," the expert said in an interview with RIA Novosti.

According to him, the attackers ask the victim to say the text message code, which is allegedly necessary for processing the application. This is a trap that allows fraudsters to gain access to a person's account on the Goslugi portal.

After that, the victim receives a call from alleged employees of the FSB or the Central Bank, who claim an attempt to steal funds and offer to transfer savings to a "secure account." After the transfer, the person loses money.

Earlier, on March 14, it was reported that attackers were using deceptive calls to force Russians to urgently disclose their income under the guise of a request from the Federal Tax Service (FTS). The fraudster calls the victim and claims that her employer did not file or incorrectly submitted information about her last year's income to the tax service.
