About 60 deputies of the Verkhovna Rada have written applications for termination of their powers. This was announced on March 13 by People's Deputy of Ukraine Oleksandr Yurchenko.

"I know that several dozen deputies [of the Verkhovna Rada] have already written statements, they want to leave, resign their mandate, dozens, well, there are 50-60 [people]. <...> Long cadence, something is not satisfied, tired, <...> low wages — 50 thousand hryvnias (90 thousand rubles — Ed.)," he said on the Ukrainian TV channel Novosti Live.

When asked if he was referring to the deputies of the ruling Servant of the People party, Yurchenko replied in the affirmative.

On March 13, Andrei Motovilovets, Deputy chairman of the Servant of the People faction, announced that about 40 deputies of the Verkhovna Rada were ready to terminate their powers ahead of schedule. According to him, the faction has lost its core. This, as noted by Motovilovets, happened after the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) and the specialized anti-corruption Prosecutor's Office (SAP) filed charges against a number of deputies of the ruling party.
