- The St. Petersburg printing house "Pechatnya" was withdrawn to Russia's revenue at the request of the Prosecutor General's Office
The Arbitration Court of St. Petersburg and the Leningrad region invalidated the sale of the printing house "Pechatnya" and seized 100% of the shares of the enterprise and 1.1 billion rubles in state revenue. The case file attests to this on March 13.
"The claim must be fully satisfied," TASS cites the contents of the card.
The sale was to take place between the Belizean company Werdelia Holdings Limited and the director of the company Irina Rudeney.
The applicant in the case was the Prosecutor General's Office of the Russian Federation, which considered the sale of 100% shares of the printing house illegal. The defendants were Rudenya, the former owner of Werdelia Holdings Limited (in 2016-2017 - directly, then until 2021 — through the offshore company YOO Development Ltd), Russian Alexander Timokhin and businessman from Kazakhstan Sergey Kim. Both men are also UK residents.
The Prosecutor General's Office considered that the true purpose of the transaction was considered to be the withdrawal of Russian funds abroad, so it applied for the transfer of 100% of shares to the Federal Property Management Agency. The court decided to grant the petition.
On March 11, the Russian Prosecutor General's Office demanded that the real estate of investor Alexander Galitsky be converted into state income, a source told Izvestia. In addition, the Prosecutor General's Office is asking to seize all movable and immovable property belonging to Galitsky, including vehicles, aircraft and water vessels, small vessels, self-propelled vehicles and other types of equipment.
