The US "blitzkrieg" against Iran has failed, and the American side has no exit strategy from the operation. This was announced on March 13 by Russia's Permanent representative to the UN Vasily Nebenzya.

"We don't know what will happen. The Blitzkrieg failed, the regime did not collapse <...> the United States does not have a strategy to get out of this situation," he said in an interview with RT.

The diplomat stressed that Iran, like other countries, has the right to security, but this right is not respected. According to Nebenzia, Russia calls for a political and diplomatic settlement of the conflict.

On the same day, US President Donald Trump announced that the United States plans to launch a "strong strike" against Iran within the next week. According to him, Washington has already caused significant damage to Tehran, which "will take years to recover."

Political scientist Andrey Suzdaltsev noted that a US victory in Iran is possible in two ways: either the United States will launch a ground operation to seize the Bushehr nuclear power plant, or launch a nuclear strike.
