Monument to Solzhenitsyn on the embankment in Vladivostok will not be demolished

The monument to the Russian writer and playwright Alexander Solzhenitsyn, which is located on the Korabelnaya Embankment in Vladivostok, will not be demolished, it is planned to rearrange it. This was reported to RT on March 13 at the city hall.

"The decision to postpone was made by the Council for Culture and Art due to the fact that the sculpture is not suitable for this place in terms of subject matter," the newspaper quotes a representative of the mayor's office in the Telegram channel.
