Every clinic in Moscow has encountered "consumer terrorism," a phenomenon in which a patient attends a procedure but does not pay for it. Ekaterina Vasilyeva, chief physician and founder of the Artleo Clinic, told about this on March 13 at the Izvestia News Center at a press conference on "Business challenges and ways to solve them."

According to the expert, consumer terrorism is a situation where a patient undergoes a procedure but refuses to pay for it, claiming that the doctor performed it incorrectly. This process is often accompanied by threats and blackmail.

Vasilyeva also stressed that every clinic in Moscow had experienced similar cases.
