The number of people killed in the Ukrainian Armed Forces attack on a hospital in the DPR has increased to 10

The number of medical workers killed as a result of an attack by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) on a hospital in the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) has increased to ten. This was reported on March 13 by the Investigative Committee (IC) of the Russian Federation.

The investigation revealed that on March 10, 2026, Ukrainian militants deliberately attacked an inpatient medical facility on the territory of the DPR using an aircraft-type UAV.

"As a result, 10 medical workers were killed, 10 people, including nine doctors, were injured in various degrees of severity. All the victims are receiving the necessary medical assistance," the message on the UK Telegram channel says.

The military investigative bodies of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation have opened a criminal case on the grounds of a crime under paragraph "b" of Part 3 of Article 205 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Terrorist act").

During the inspection of the scene, fragments of the drone were found. Explosives and other examinations have been ordered for the seized items.

The day before, it became known that as a result of the Ukrainian Armed Forces strike on a hospital in the DPR on March 10, eight doctors were killed and nine more were injured. The attack was carried out at 03:40 using four drones. At the time of the impact, there were more than 130 patients and about 50 employees in the building. The Russian Defense Ministry stressed that the facility had never been used for military purposes, and called the incident a gross violation of international humanitarian law.

On Friday, March 12, the death toll of doctors rose to 10. It was also reported that the roof and walls on the second floor partially collapsed in the two-story hospital building after the attack.
