The Moscow City Court has ruled lawful the arrest until April 11 of Andrey Severilov, former chairman of the board of directors of the FESCO transport group, in a case of embezzlement. This was announced on March 13 by a correspondent of Izvestia from the courtroom.

It was established that Mikhail Rabinovich, the ex-co-owner of the company, Severilov, Arkady Korostelev, the former president of the transport group of the company, and other unidentified persons, acting as an organized group, being the beneficiaries and managers of PJSC DVMP, PJSC VMTP, and related structures of the FESCO group, organized the embezzlement of funds of PJSC VMTP on a particularly large scale. the size.

Another Izvestia source clarified that Severilov did not admit guilt. Boris Ivanov, the company's vice president for production development, is also involved in the case. He has also been arrested.

According to the investigation, the defendants created Vladporttrans LLC, which does not conduct any real activity, and through a fictitiously overestimated estimate committed embezzlement in the amount of 885 million.

In February, the court placed Severilov and Ivanov under arrest until April 11. The arrest of the defendants took place on the same day in Moscow. They are charged under Part 4 of Article 160 of the Criminal Code ("Embezzlement on an especially large scale"). The defendants in the case face up to 10 years in prison.
