Starting from April 1, Russian citizens will have their social pensions indexed by 6.8 percentage points, with a payment amount of 9.4 thousand rubles. Lyudmila Ivanova-Shvets, Candidate of Economics, Associate Professor of the Basic Department of Human Resource Management at the Plekhanov Russian University of Economics, told about this on March 13.

"According to the SFR (Social Fund of Russia. — Ed.), at the end of 2025, there were 41,169,800 pensioners. Of these, 33,379,424 people receive a working old-age pension. Such a pension is indexed from January 1," she said in an interview with RIA Novosti.
