During this period, Anastasia Baghiyan, who has already won two gold medals, will take part in individual 20 km sitting and freestyle races, as well as a joint relay race with the three-time champion of the previous Paralympics (Sochi 2014 and Pyeongchang 2018) and the current bronze medalist Alexey Bugaev, who will also have personal starts in alpine skiing — slalom and giant slalom.. Varvara Voronchikhina, who won three medals at these Games, including gold in the supergiant, will also compete in slalom. Hockey. KHL Regular Season

The KHL regular season will end in exactly one week. The teams have three or four matches left. There is only one place left undefeated in the playoffs - Novosibirsk Siberia and Khabarovsk Amur are fighting for it in the Eastern Conference. On March 13, the Siberians will face Metallurg Magnitogorsk, the winner of the regular season, at home. If they win, and the Far Eastern club loses away to Spartak Moscow (he also plays with them on the 13th), then Siberia will ensure its participation in the Gagarin Cup. There will be several more matches on the same day, which are important in terms of the distribution of pairs in the first round. Ufa's Salavat Yulaev, which is fighting for fifth place in the East, will host Dynamo Moscow, which is fighting for a place in the top 4 of the Western Conference. His competitor Nizhny Novgorod Torpedo will be a guest of Salavat's competitor Chelyabinsk Tractor. The next day, CSKA Moscow, which is ahead of Dynamo and Torpedo, will play away against Avtomobilist Yekaterinburg. Ski racing. Russian Championship

The Russian Ski Racing Championship, which was held for the first time in such an eastern territory of the country, is coming to an end in Sakhalin. So far, three-time Olympic champion and two-time World Cup winner Alexander Bolshunov and Russian Cup overall leader Sergey Ardashev have completely dominated the men, winning three gold medals each, including the mixed relay. Women have no pronounced leaders in this tournament. But someone else can prove themselves in the last three days, when the relay races will be held, as well as mass starts, first in free and then in classic style.

Ski racing. The World Cup. 11th stage

Our skiers Daria Nepryaeva and Savely Korostelev were the first Russians since 2022 to be admitted to international competitions, albeit in a neutral status. In February, they even took part in the Olympics, where, due to the lack of proper experience of such competitions, they were left without medals. But last week Korostelev won a bronze medal at the World Cup in Drammen, Norway — it was his first international medal at the adult level. On March 14, he and Nepryaeva will complete their international season by competing in the 50 km freestyle mass start in Oslo.

Therefore, they continue to compete within the country.
